Where are you based?

I am based in Springfield, Illinois. However, I travel all over the midwest for weddings and portraits. I regularly travel to Chicago and St. Louis but will go farther anytime someone is interested. I love traveling for my job.

What's your style?

I love approaching weddings with a documentary style. I make capturing moments my first goal. Every wedding day is a story with a beginning, middle and end. This includes the details, all the people involved and beautiful compositions. When it comes to portraits I want the portrait to symbolize the couple and have an intimate feel. This could be a hugging embrace, a light kiss on the shoulder, or just a look they give to each other. The portraits should show what kind of couple they are.

Do you photograph family group photos?

Of course! I know if I were the one getting married, I would like portraits with my family. I always ask for a detailed list of all the group photos the couple is wanting.

How do we hire you?

Once you figure out what package you are interested in, let me know and I'll email you a PDF of the contract. All you would have to do is fill out the remaining part and mail it back to me with the deposit. If you have questions about whether to go with one package or the other, we can talk over the timeline of your day and figure out which would cover everything you are wanting. The only difference in the different packages is the amount of time you are wanting coverage. I'm only an email/phone call away and love talking so don't hold back on any questions you may have.
